In 2009, the New York Mets moved into Citi Field. Their magnificent new ballpark was built next to the previous Shea Stadium in Queens, New York. For nearly 50 years, Shea Stadium has been home to the New York Mets and a backdrop for many of the team’s crowning moments. P.J. Mechanical is thrilled to have been involved in building Citi Field and helping to create a new architectural and cultural landmark.
Our project team were in charge of the multi-million dollar project and provided the bodywork and utilities that will maintain and preserve the city’s new ballpark for the next fifty years and beyond. P.J. Mechanical is glad to be a part of a project that has tremendous meaning for Mets’ supporters, New Yorkers, and baseball fans.
